Welcome Ben Goldstein!
Founders League is thrilled to welcome Ben Goldstein to our team! Ben, who graduated from Princeton this spring, is a 2013 Venture for America Fellow. Each year, Venture For America sends talented, top tier college graduates to cities around the country to work within startups for two years. Ben selected to spend his two year Fellowship with the Founders League in Providence, where he will play a major role in the next phase of the platform's growth.
At Princeton, Ben majored in East Asian Studies with a focus on Chinese. His senior thesis, about Chinese Media Coverage of the United States Presidential Election in 2012, won a departmental award.
During college, Ben was involved with Outdoor Action, a backpacking orientation program for incoming freshman. His tenure with the organization included a trip in Connecticut during Hurricane Irene which ended up being evacuated. Last summer, he did business development and operations for Kogeto, a startup in New York that manufactures a panoramic camera for the iPhone.
Ben will serve as Project Manager, a role that will have Ben creating and managing new programming for the Founders League and developing new ways to engage the local startup community.
In his free time, Ben is an avid surfer (even in the winter!), and loves to meet and connect with new people. Welcome BEN!
