This month, research think tank Datafox named Providence among the country’s best cities to launch a startup. What’s behind the ranking? The study analyzed several key metrics, including success of early-stage companies and existing communities of entrepreneurs.
Among Providence’s assets, Datafox highlighted Providence’s close knit community, high quality startup support platforms, and concentration of colleges and universities and a new program that offers recent grads student loan forgiveness if they stay to launch a company.
